After having presented the « Here We Are » exhibition in London at Old Sessions House, Burberry is bringing it to Paris, after a quick stop in Hong-Kong, from January 26th to February 4th. The exhibition will take place on two floors of the former Liberation headquarters at 11, rue Béranger in the third arrondissement. The president and chief creative officer of Burberry, Christopher Bailey, curated the “Here We Are” exhibition with Lucy Kumara Moore and Alasdair McLellan. Among the two thousands photographs by renowned artists of the 20th century are showcased never before seen prints by Shirley Baker and Ken Russell, one portrait of Belgravia in 1979 by Karen Knorr, images of Notting Hill’s local community by Charlie Phillips and non-conventional portraits of British businessmen by Brian Griffin. A special exhibition of more than seventy photographs by McLellan will be showcased as well. It includes four series of images taken in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, along with older photos exhibited for the first time ever. Lastly, visionary designer Gosha Rubchinskiy will be honored with photographic prints and projections of his work.
